Chad’s technical journey began in the 90’s fitting luxury yachts with high quality music, video, lighting and control systems.  The challenges of the unforgiving marine environment prepared Chad for just about anything.

Marine vessels leave little room to work and little room for errors.  With weight restrictions, highly humid and corrosive/salty conditions, constant high temperatures, and relentless vibration of pounding waves, its a sure way to make or break a technology architect's reputation for bullet-proof design & installation of entertainment systems.

After working around the country on some of the most exciting home theater and automation projects anywhere, Chad decided to move to an area which allowed him to easily service clients around the country but also offered a great family-oriented lifestyle, thus Richmond, VA is where he now calls home.

At HC², he continues to push the envelope in the luxury audio, video & automation systems design and deployment while also being able to focus on family.
